
Valerie Gonzalez received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance
and Choreography from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
She has served on the faculty of several diverse Chicago area studios,
where she taught Jazz, Modern and Ballet. Valerie has trained and performed
with notable companies such as Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago II,
River North Chicago Dance Company, Chicago Arts Project,
Joel Hall Dancers, and TJ& Co. Dance Theatre. Valerie's experiences have allowed
her to perform across the country and internationally.
She has choreographed for the Second Avenue Dance Company, TJ & Co. Dance Theatre,
Terpsicore Dance Ensemble, numerous competitive entries, high school musicals,
and orchesis groups. Valerie shapes her classes as a means to provide an outlet
for creative and artistic expression. She aims to prepare versatile artists
who can enjoy the practice of dance and appreciate dance throughout their lifetime.

Devon Goudge recently graduated from Indiana University with her Bachelors in Kinesiology;
Contemporary Dance. Devon started dancing at IU on the Pom Squad, where she performed jazz and
hip hop routines at the Big Ten football and basketball games. She also performed at the Universal
Dance Association Collegiate Championship finals in Orlando, Florida. During her studies as a
dance major, she was cast in Paul Taylor’s Three Epitaphs for the 2008 Faculty Concert.
Devon attended the 2008 Paul Taylor Summer Dance Intensive in Ann Arbor, Michigan and currently
studies at the Lou Conte Dance Studio in Chicago. Devon was a member of the Lake Zurich
Pom Squad all four years. During those years, she was a choreographer for three and was a
captain for two years when they won first place at the IDTA and UDA State Competitions.
Devon has been teaching dance for seven years at several studios throughout the Midwest.
She was also a Universal Dance Association Instructor for two summers. Devon is
thrilled to be a part of the Trilogy family.

Regina was born and raised in Lake Zurich. She has experience in competitive dance being part of the
Lake Zurich High School Dance Team herself, graduating in 1996. She has competed in pom,
kick and hip hop. Regina continued her love for dance by taking classes through the
University of Iowa dance program. Since graduating college, she has trained with hip hop
teachers all over the Chicagoland area. Regina has also taught hip hop at America Stars of Dance
in Lake Villa and Antioch. Taking her love of competitive dance and experience, she is currently
one of the coaches for the Lake Zurich High School Dance Team. She just finished her first year
coaching which was very successful! Regina is also a social worker in the Lake Zurich School District
at Spencer Loomis and Middle School North.

Kathy is a native Floridian and taught tumbling at a Dance Studio in Florida for 12 years, before relocating with her husband
to Illinois in 1999. Kathy has been been with JEM Studio's teaching tumbling for the past 4 years as well as teaching
at the Dance Factory prior to it being taken over by Tammy Skinner. Tumbling is a great way to enhance flexibility as well as
a having lots of fun!

Joni Martin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater from U.C. Berkeley and has
also studied at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. She has over 20
years experience in theater including acting, directing, and teaching. Joni has performed
in many productions over the years such as Present Laughter, The Importance of
Being Ernest, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Joni also taught and performed was
The Jolly Orange Company, a nonprofit theater company performing and teaching
children’s theater to elementary schools in the S.F. Bay Area. She has been
a Director in children’s theater locally for a number of years most recently
directing Captain Bree and her Lady Pirates, A Christmas Presence,
and Pied Piper – the Musical.

Eugene trained in V.O.P. style jazz with Nancy Myers Gitlin, a student of Frank Hatchett. He later studied classical
ballet with Rhonda Rabbers. Eugene danced with Giordano II for one year, and is excited to be dancing with
GJDC for his second season.
