The school is proud to offer dance technique and performance lessons taught by professionals
in the field, most of whom still dance at professional level. In addition to extremely
well trained staff, the school is a state of the art facility, just built keeping
in mind the needs of our community. Therefore we cannot allow our students to come
to class if they have an outstanding balance.
- Studio rental fee
Please note that all instructors are free to charge their personal fee for private
lessons. Trilogy will charge a studio rental. Use of studio for private lessons is only
available for current students and is subject to space availability. Reservation
in advance is required. Contact Anna Berman at 847-456-7880 or via e-mail:
for rates information.
- Attire
All dancers are expected to come to class prepared to dance, wearing black tights/black
leotard (black pants for boys), hair neatly pulled back, dance shoes, and wearing
their essentials in their bags. The dance instructors reserve the right to ask a
student to leave class if they are not properly dressed to dance. The attire specific
for voice and drama lesson will be communicated by the instructors at the beginning
of the session.
- Recital
Even though the recital is an important moment of any dancer's life,
we do understand the need to keep it simple and to make sure every family can continue
their regular routines during that time. Therefore Trilogy School of Performing
Arts is proud to offer a one-time recital night (scheduled at the moment for June
8th). For the same reason, and to make sure every family can afford financially
to be part of the Recital, the costumes will be kept as simple as possible, starting
with the black basis offered at registration and adding an accent piece according
to the specific dance and choreography.
- Where are the boys?
Many families have asked about dance classes geared towards boys specifically.
While we will keep this need in mind, and will be happy at some point to offer a
boy-only class, we do feel that a truly performing experience would not be complete
without boys and girls dancing together. Our instructors are professionally trained
and used to work with girls and boys, our music will be selected making sure it
is adequate for both genders and the black attire will eliminate any other issues
that might arise from having boys and girls in the same dance class.
- Compagnia
At Trilogy all dancers are considered performers and no special treatment
is given to the members of company: Everybody will take the same base classes in
terms of ballet/jazz/barre work, and those who choose to be member of our “Compagnia”
will audition and become member of this groups, with additional team rehearsal time.
The competition season will probably run from March to May. A schedule of competitions
will be available soon.
- Trilogy Fun Time (TFT)
From time to time Trilogy School of Performing Arts will organize special
bonding activities open to all students of the school. We will announce these activities
on the Web Site and on the Bulletin Board inside the school.
- Trilogy Manager
Trilogy School of Performing Arts is proud to offer Trilogy Manager,
a brand new software program which will manage all your school needs: dance classes,
registration, internal e-mail, school communications, and so on. This program is
work in progress, therefore we invite you to check it out, use all its features
when available, and let us know if something does not work correctly (please e-mail
Walter Berman at Walterb@trilogydance.com with questions, comments and/or concerns
regarding Trilogy Manager.)
