DISCOVER WITH ME - (walking-age 3 with adult)
Explore the joy of movement with your little one and discover the many benefits of early childhood dance education. We will dance, sing, and play in both one-on-one activities and group activities. Through circle songs, open exploration, and gross motor development exercises, students will blossom with each passing class as they grow with their caregiver during this precious time together.
DISCOVERDANCE I (ages 3-4)
Discover the magic of imaginative play with live singing, structured explorations, and skill development. This class offers an outlet for creative expression, physical growth, and social interaction. Students will continue to explore the essence of movement as they develop crucial skills to create an optimal and successful learning experience.
DISCOVERDANCE II (ages 4-5)
This class explores the 11 concepts of dance with more emphasis on physical growth, flexibility, coordination, and technique. Combining skills assist in memory development as structured explorations continue to develop problem solving and social skills. This foundation prepares the student for the continuation of training in any style of dance. Students do not wear shoes, as research has proven that dancing barefoot in the early years encourages balance, posture and coordination.
Ballet, Creative & Jazz/Hip Hop combination class (K-3rd grade)
This class focuses on combining the 11 dance concepts in the structured setting of Ballet and Jazz/Hip Hop technique. It also explores activities that help increase creative thinking and problem solving skills. Students zone in even more on gross motor skills, flexibility, coordination and technique. The class is 30min of Ballet, 10min of Creative Exploration and 20min of Jazz/Hip Hop. Students need ballet shoes for Ballet, and barefeet for Creative and Jazz/Hip Hop.
TINY/PETITE ACRO (grades K-5)
This is a beginning acrobatics class. Acrobatics uses strength and flexibility to perform gymnastic-based tricks. In this class, students perform conditioning exercises to prepare them for increased difficulty. It teaches flexibility, balance, strength and coordination. Students do not wear shoes.
BALLET/TAP COMBO (grades K-3 OR grades 1-4)
Students zone in on gross motor skills, flexibility, coordination, musicality and technique. They will learn basic Ballet and Tap skills. The class is 40min of Ballet and 20min of Tap. Students need ballet shoes for Ballet and tap shoes for Tap.
